    Constant Variables?

    Hey everyone

    I was just wondering if its possible to use a constant type variable in flash, and if so what is the syntax to write it

    I tried searching around and couldnt find anything on writing it, they all seem to refer to things other then what I wanted, so I dont know if it was possible in the first place

    If someone could enlighten me, I would be grateful

    Unlike javascrtipt, Flash Actionscript does not feature the static datatype.

    Oh, yea haha thats exactly where I was coming from, I thought flash might be similar in that it has constant variables
