    Understanding Keyframes Tutorial

    Understanding Keyframes in KM

Note: According to Necromanthis using labled keyframes is not reccomended. Of course the level of complexity in my work the global performance drop is not noticeable.

    Nice job Bret!

There seems to be some confusion as I know from the minute I became a Koolmoves user the directives in various posts were for us NOT to use numbered frames. I assumed this was specific to Koolmoves since my Flash and Swish easily use either numbered or named frames fine.

My entire cms is Koolmoves and I can count the number of named frames on 2 hands so if indexing is a problem for any given movie, that movie has to have a boatload of named frames.

Has this directive changed since the 5.1+ versions and we can rely on both methods?

Chris: Apparently you can rely on the number you just have to account for the tween frames. with 6 tweens as a default Frame 2 is the 8th frame, frame 3 is the what 15th?. It's consistent as I think the issue with KM adding a frame at the head of a movie is no longer the case.

Bob: Why not make a sticky thread were we can post links to tutorials. Also mine will stary where they are you are welcome to link to them. Would it be helpfull if I post a master page that lists the tutorials? Only have 3 so far. I tend to do them as I see questions raised.(when I can answer them)

Hey Chris check your link in your sig http://sandbox.blogdns.com/backend.php times out when I try it.

A single page that I can link to would be very helpful.

Nothing has changed in KoolMoves regarding frames.

I watched this videos. I didn't ever think of adding motion script to a button like you did. Prettynice. And I guess that you are a mac user from looking at the tuts.

I posted the link on our support page.

If any one else has a tutorial collection, I would like to link to it.
