i've seen 'hunks of fake fat' used on tv as weight loss incentives...sort of like a fake black lung is an incentive to quit smoking. you know, having a replica of 20 pounds of fake fat laying around is a good reason to hit the threadmill.

can you help me find a place that sells these?

googling things like 'fake fat', 'chunk of fat', and 'prothletic fat chunk' returns bizaar, NSFW results. any help would be appreciated.

You could make your own.
All you really need is some urathane, latex, rubber grease paint or colourants for the latex and some painting skills.
Also Glyserine helps to make it shiny and slimy looking.

Is that true? Seems a bit much, a mile of vessels for 1 pound of fat? If there was a 200 pound guy, with a 40% body fat index, that would mean he would have 80 miles of veins! That can't be right.

If you took all of the blood vessels out of an average child, and laid them out in one line, the line would be over 60,000 miles long! An adult's vessels would be closer to 100,000 miles long!
