Jill Carroll freed
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Journalist Jill Carroll was freed in Iraq on Thursday, nearly three months after being kidnapped in Baghdad, her newspaper said.
...
Hopes for Carroll's release were boosted after British-led special forces stormed a house last week and freed three Christian peace activists, two Canadians and a Briton.
Yay! I had kind of been following her story a little bit, she seems like a really good person... I figured they would find her body dead eventually but am happy to hear now it had a happy ending .

Yeah, I just heard about it through Pipeline. Excellent day for it to be free! Watch the coverage as it happens from your PC.
Excellent news that she's doing well. It'll probably be some time before everything's sorted out and a solid news report comes along on the events leading up to the release.
