    this sound will drive you insane

    might be old, but whatever
    you can listen to it forever, just make sure you turn the volume up.
    BTW, it is NOT on of those scary things.

    Yeah, apparently kids have been using it as a ringtone in school because adults, aka their teachers, cannot hear it. I guess as you get older you can't pick up high tones like that.

    The funny thing is when my Step-Daughter comes in with her laptop and wants me to hear the "Hot New CD" that she got after she has ripped a copy to her iTunes. That high pitched noise that happens when you rip a song at 128 kbps she can't hear, but drives me insane.

    Just let me borrow the CD and I'll be fine.

    I can hear it - but then I'm 15.

    Apparently some shop owner invented a box which makes an annoying sound only teens can hear so they don't stand around outside his shop looking like thugs.
