    Flash Player Quetion

    I have a question about what the requirement are to view a .SWF on a computer. I mean the raw SWF file, not a SWF on the net. Im trying to get some friends to test some of my SWF's but my hoster has been down for a WEEK! ah, so I have been sending them the SWF files. Eveyone has Flash Player 8 installed, but nobody can open the SWFs properly... Why can't they open the SWFs?

    You need the stand alone flashplayer to view them on your computer. Publish an html page to go with the swf and send them both.

    Here's a link to the standalone players, but I'm not sure they will install without having flash installed.
