C++ advice
I've always been interested in programming in C++, but I have never gotten around to it because I don't have any libraries to use. Someone told me to try QT from trolltech.com, but I can't get it to install properly. Does anyone have any other good C++ libraries?

No!
What do you mean? Usually you want to do something, not just have random libraries thrown at you.
But, if that's the case...
Boost
OpenGL
DirectX
NVSG
OpenIL (DevIL)

If that's the case, Visual Studio would be a good idea.
wxWidgets is cross platform and more open source
tclTk is more of a scripted approach to creating GUIs (if you look around, you'll find libraries that integrate it into C++)
