I am a newby with KM I am trying to have a rotating button "ENTER", when I publish the button nothing shows up on the page, even when I play the movie it is gone it is just a blank page when the mouse over I can see a square. In the URL and URL target I use my (http) address and link it to the page it should go.
just view html source - if there is <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> youve got this parameter. Just in export options deselect "transparent background" and shuold be OK
Necromanthus If I use an animation with the type and make it a button everything does dissapear, it even dissapears in KM when I try to play it there is nothing there. If I do not have an animation and upload on the site it works the only thing is that everything is scalled down, meaning, my type in KM is 48 point in FP it becomes 12 point or even smaller.

This is a bad idea (and it doesn't make sense anyway).
A button has to be a ... button !

It's a matter of scale and nothing more.
There're two different things here: the movieclip and its content.
For example, if you double the size of a movieclip and after that you edit its content, you'll find anything unchanged.
All you have to do is to set the right scale for each object using "Transforms / Numeric / Scale".
A final advice: do not use too many flash (KM) components, motion scripts, or flash 8 filters in the same keyframe.
All of them are frame rate killers !

You mentioned that it was a bad idea, to use 3D text as a button. This is what I wanted to do. Use the word "ENTER" in 3D "Boomerang" style for a button to enter the web site with URL "page2.htm". when I do this in KM I do not see anything in the play movie. When I bring it in my FP all I see if I move my mouse where it is suppose to be I see a an outline of a box, then it disappears, and no page2.htm

You mention that a "button has to be a button". So if I use text for example I want to use "ENTER" with a 3D effect "boomerang" and use this as a button, it will not work. As soon as I choose that it is a button it disappears, it stays on the screen, but when I play the movie it is not there, it is not there even on my site. the only thing is on the site when I mouse the mouse over where it should be a box appears, I click on it then nothing happens. I did use the URL.
