    [Show] Ragdoll game/fisix demo

    Hey,

I just finished a very unique ragdoll game that I'd like to share with all of you, which I created with my new as3 physics engine (The Fisix Engine):
It features both rigid and soft bodies, as well as some other features of the engine

    Meet mona the mascot

note that this is plainly a crude attempt to get you excited about the engine, which will be coming out very soon

    hahhahaha...beautiful

very, very cool ......quite a technical fit.....impressive to say the least.
I really like the magnet feature....that was an intersting suprise.

I wonder how easy or hard will it be to integrate with other engines.....like tile or art based scrollers and things like that.

very nice, and congrats for all that work!

Lovely, although my boss didn't seem as excited about it when he walked past as I was playing with it.

Hey, it's not as if girls aren't allowed to do the same thing with male ragdolls.

(wow, my topic just got pimped by THE strille!)

    *cough*

I think you need to use some angle constraints to stop her breasts rotating too far.

(I hope nobody I know read that...)

Looks really good! I'd post some screenshots, but I'd probably be banned.
Would you mind sharing some tips on how to achive stable angle constraints?

The secret to stable angular constraints is to shift all three points after solving the constraint so that their center is on the same spot as their center before solving

Haha, was thinking exactly the same thing

Seriously though, looking very nice. I’m looking forward to the fisixengine.

Me? I don't even know how to do IK in the first place, let alone fixing it. By 'constraints', I meant adding a couple of lines to reposition the... nodes... to make it so that the maximum distance they can be rotated from the torso is between about 120 and 150 degrees.

No, I meant ozmic, but thanks anyway

Yeah, I do shift all three points after solving the constraint, that's not the problem.
My constraints kind of works in that they won't let my ragdoll bend in unnatural ways,
but it will never come to a rest. I guess I messed up one some part, the problem is probably specific to
how I (tried to) solve it. It's an old project, I'll have to get back to it someday. Anyway, I'm off topic.

Once again - your engine looks lovely
