    [pimp]Photo Album

Have a look at my new photo album. It uses all the fancy modern stuff, like AJAX, DOM and PHP. There might be some bugs, and you need a scroll mouse to view it. I haven't tested it on other browsers, so it might only work on Firefox.

    Um.... Wrong forum?

I found it kind of frustrating to navigate... plus it was really slow (6mb connection here)

Neat usage of technology, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to move this to the more appropriate Site Check.

nice idea, but a little slow and I got 16MB connection, are you using rescaled full resolution images for your thumbs?

    better backward navigation required also...

but i do like the idea, seen simiar ideas used in flash, nice to see it being redone with DOM/php/ajax.

and in a blink of an eye...

    Thanks for the move Gerbs.

I let php scale the images, but I have a really slow host. It only loads the original if you double-click on the image.

Has anyone tried it in opera or safari? It won't work in IE.

Works in Opera 9.01 on Windows XP Pro SP2. I'll try it for you in Safari on OSX 10.4.8 in a bit... I've been using the PC's lately for the last few days.

Thanks for the check. I found a few bugs, and will add a loading screen when you change albums. I tried to find a scrollwheel listener for IE, but couldn't.
