[F8] how do I add to another object to an existing movieclip?

Hi

How do I add to another object to an existing movieclip?

Say if I have a man as a movieclip who has been animated etc, then decide I want to add a hat as well, how would I do that?

Open up the man movie clip and make a new layer. Then drag the hat movie clip from the library to the new layer.
