Need a flash movie player $$$$$$

    Hello,

I haven't posted on here for quite a while because of school recently, but now I am getting back in the business of things. I am looking to hire someone to make a flash player that converts movie files onto the player. This player would have simple play and pause buttons and a preloader and volume control. I am opening a website soon to play video files and since youtube, myspace, break.com all have these flash converters I know it is possible and I willing to hire someone to make one. If anyone is interested, send me a price quote to swcinfo[AT]yahoo.com. I am willing to pay top dollar.

    Thanks,
    swcAndrew

Flash player wouldn't have ability to convert movie files to .flv itself (even could, not a deal definitely). What you need not only a video player huh?

And, where you want to store those big movie files? Media server?

Good question georgecalgary. Basically I will create an upload script via PHP or so to upload movie files: .wmv, avi., etc etc and I want a script that can take say a .wmv movie file and import it into a player made in flash. This would make my website more functional since I would need to worry about one movie extension when it is played on the page, and that would be .swf.

shell2006 - I don't believe I got your email. Try it again or just send me a pm. Thanks

andrew, i dont think you understand what is involved in that. there isnt just a script for doing that, you need to buy a product by a company called On2. it is a lot of money to buy. and what that does is convert your video file into a flv on the server side. for doing that, its just a matter of spending the $10,000 or so for the software license and probably following simple instructions to install it and get it working, but if you need a flash video player, i can help wiht that, i have done many and have much experience in the flash video area.
