Not crisp jpg problem
Heres the site with swf: http://www.arythmics.metal.org.pl/
and heres orginal jpg: http://www.arythmics.metal.org.pl/logo.jpg
any1 know why jpg in swf is so blurry? i added only 1 scratchy video effect. And jpg quality in export setting is set to max.

Sorry fella the server wont let me view the jpg, but I shouldn't worry you have used the effect well, and the bluriness does not detract from the look.

http://www.arythmics.yoyo.pl/logo.jpg so here another link. The blurred picture looks even more cool than normal, its more... climatic, but... hm... id just like to know why it is blurred.

Ive just had a play with it and you might want to try adjusting the 4 setting available with scratchy video effect to see the slightly different effect you get, I think the blur is part of the overall effect.

ive tried this. the thing is that if i save swf even without effects, the jpg is still blurry.

umm maybe change the image type or try and edit the picture and make it darker and then import it and it might go to the colour you want.

Personally, I ONLY use PNG format images in KM or anything I can for that matter. It's lossless compression abilities allows me to make the images take up as little space as possible.
This site I did, http://www.nssclan.org is all PNG files. The only one that is blurry is the Socom Logo but I didn't make that one and it has a motion script added to it until it goes to the static image. Notice the sharpness issue as it loads?

You've stretched it. The size it is in the image editor should be the size it is on your KM stage for best results. Once you stretch or compress an image from it's imported size, it gets degraded.

Chris, good to see you. I knew you couldn't stay away....completely.

Just a general answer to a general question. That rule applies to all Flash

1. image size wasnt stretched. Ive made a rctriangle with 600x200 px and then filled it with bitmap.
2. first i used png, but jpg and png gives me the same blur.
3. the colours trick... ill try this later, now ive got to go...

Then it's definitely an odd one. I personally never had trouble using an image at it's native size with the export settings quality set to 100% in KM. Yours is mainly using a primary color (black #000000) so it's even stranger IMO but it may be nobody can see what is going on or help without your KM source and matching image source.
Then again, it could be those darn rctriangles (they never cooperate)

Another possibility is an alignment issue.
If an image is at (40.5,20.5) for example it doesn't look crisp. The image coordinates sould have no decimals.
