    See here:

Click the button at the bottom, and a new site should open, look at the banner, this is a expanding banner... I wonder how to make a banner expand like this.

Hi, there is a kit available on FlashDen : http://www.flashden.net/item/expand-...D_Flash_Design
It includes both sources fla and html / div codes. But sometimes the avertising server agencies can give you their own kit (but it generally don't include the codes to intergate this on your own sites for instance
Most solutions are based on expanding and closing divs but some are not completly compatible with every browser such as Firefox Mac as far as i know

If you didn't already find an answer, I could walk you through the one I've created that works in every browser I've test and is very easy to use as a template.

    www.expandablebanners.com

    Check out www.expandablebanners.com

You do not need a big advertising company to serve the banners, you can host all files on your website.

You can customize the dimensions. (Horizontal, Verticle, Square, Peel, Fullscreen)

They use a combination of Flash, Javascript and CSS/DHTML

    Compatible with Actionscript 1, 2 or 3

Compatible with IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera for both PC & Mac)

You can set a timer to open or close.

You can set how many times the banner opens.

You can have as many as you want on the same page.

These banners overlap content, not to be confused with pushing content down.

You will need to create 2 different banners, one in the original size and another in the larger expanded format.

Can be integrated into your existing websites or inserted into a banner tracking/rotating system

The scripts are throughly commented and easy to understand

    Can be integreated into DART

Our Kit will be useful for many future generations of web browsers. If there is a future problem we will fix it and send you the latest fixes.
