Wonder if anyone could help. I have authored a site in Flash 8 and have embedded Flash using the SWF Object Method as described here:

The problem is that my client is claiming a lot of people have been contacting her to say that they are not able to view the site, even after downloading the Shockwave Player (and restarting their computer).

Furthermore they are not being automatically prompted to install the Player which I thought would be the case with the swfobject method. I thought this was included in the swfobject.js file. The people not seeing the Flash content are seeing my alternative content and clicking onto a "get shockwave player" button which I have included.

I'm quite frustrated now because I thought this method of embedding Flash was more or less foolproof. Can anyone suggest possible reasons and/or solutions please?
