    Point and Shoot camera recommendations

    I am sure this has been asked before, but as new ones come out be nice to have a idea on a good one..

    I am looking for one that is slim, no shutter lag or minimal.. And of course great shots... I have a Canon 30D, but you know how that is carrying with you all the time.. no fun.. lol..

    Appreciate the help....

    Nikon Coolpix 8700...OkOk...I am bad
    Canon G6
    Sony F-717...older model but sooo cool with it's magnificent Zeiss lens

    Oops just see this ...none of my recommendations is slim...blush

    Thanks Frex for your input.. yea looking for a slim one to put in pocket.. so many times i have wanted to take a pic, but not able to carry my 30D around with me..

    My girlfriend has a Canon powershot and it is very slim, HUGE lcd, and has some great features- here is her exact one but there is many other models to chose from Here

    Thanks wannabe.... was looking at that site all day.. I have been reading reviews, and different features..

    Has anyone played with cameras with the image stabilization?

    No, but if it is anything like their DSLR lenses it will be a great feature to have- 3 extra stops to hand hold with is awesome.
