DIY projects
Just looking for some fun little DIY project to do on my downtime. This weekend is very busy but most weeks I just work till 5 then lazy around till bed to get up and do it again. Almost all of my friends have moved away and 95% of them from school are out of state so I don't see them that much. So I need stuff to take up time during the evenings other then sitting here- I want to feel like I have accomplished something. Photo related things would be awesome but anything is open.

that'll be fun for 2 seconds- and all the swimming holes already have them in those locations.

we had a rope swing in hte middle of the forrest, no lake. it was on an incline and was had a structure made of wood that was 40 feet high. from the very top you had to jump out and pull your self up onto the seat before you hit the ground, and at the top of your swing you could see out over the woods.

Study
If I wasn't so busy with various projects at the moment I can't really imagine not spending my time studying something. Too many places in the world I want to see, and too many things in the world I want to learn. I don't think I'm getting bored anytime soon.

I'm not really waiting - just trying to do it right. It's the same way I do everything; spend a long time researching, planning, testing, thinking, then explode in a frenzy of work till it's done.
I've already got my control panel built + the basic wiring harness done, and have the computer set up with a front end and have it booting directly to it. At this point, it's more details: do I want to route out the joysticks for that extra 1/2 inch? Do I want a coin mech? etc.
Simple panel at this point, 2-up fighter set up. Trackballs are damn expensive, although some guy at the BYOAC forum makes a spiner that handles the input for a basic one without a board, so that might be cheaper. I'm a big fan of shooters, so I might get a light gun...
All this is on hold till I get married next month and finally build my workbench in the garage at the new place. =^_^=

mine doesn't... and while you are here you could rebuild the collapsing concrete walls of my water tank and switch area.... Then you could build my patio.. and my entry way that the contractor screwed up. The datsun could use some attention as well. I haven't repaired the ceiling in the kitchen after i fixed the roof either. If you are feeling really adventurous you can crawl into the crawl space and see which pillar is failing.
