    1st Flash Site

    Howdy,

I have created my 1st site. It's a site for an after school chess biz. Need an experienced Flasher to tell me what I did or did not do to make the site functional and at least average to be considered for my portfolio entry.
    My first Site!

I used .txt files for the content, and will modify w/ html codes, and probably css for styles.

Thanks for your time and much needed consideration.

get rid of that ad!!! I actually like the older site rather then that flash site, an actual chess board would of been cool, but anyway maybe get rid of the large green two stokes on each corner and replace, maybe add a border?

hope that helps to some degree

    good luck.

    Ahoi,

There are a few things that I wanted to point out and that was...

    1. Does it really need to be in flash?
It seems to me that the only reason for having Flash is the movement of the buttons around the screen during transitions. Perhaps exploiting more of Flash's animation and scripting qualities would be worthwhile.

    2. Please do something about the green bars.
This is a point where I agree with Endstand, the bars feel a little out of place.

    3. Consider your target audience.
It seems that the majority of your audience would be elementary/primary school based and I think it's worth remembering that not everyone will be able to access the site.

    Kind Regards,

    Cory
