    Clever Script Pin would Rawk!

    It would be sooo great if you could pin a script from fla-1 & be able to see it in fla-2...
    juuuuuuust thought I'd mention it...

    nah, I don't want to use it, I just want to see it. Like "shared between two windows" style.

    yeah? wow, I had no idea that was really possible...Suddenly this feels like a "technical question" (not allowed), but I must say that when I posted this, I really felt like I was wanting something absurd..."seriously joking"
    I'm just now moving into AS3, but not using it "fluently" yet. Still just playing/learning the diff from AS2. I'm pretty sure that every time I start a new Flash file (in CS3), & select AS2, I can faintly hear Flash whispering "aww, man".

    But there's a lot of good books out there to grab AS3 in a pretty quick way.

    what is the difference frets? It's not like he was asking for specific code. This looks like general conversation about what someone would like added to flash.

    my apologies, like I said, I was sitting there using Flash, had a sudden need for what I described, wasn't asking how to do it, in fact didn't think it could be done...was actually just trying to be humorous requesting the function of something absurd. I thought it was kinda funny. Then come to find out that in some respects it's possible...not my fault.
    I read the topic for what it meant, just as I've read that topic a bajillion times before. If I had a question, believe me, I know where to go (to hell, apparently).
    Funny that folks can talk about their weekend, their car, their dead cat, but as soon as someone mentions Flash in this forum, they get a "no-no".
    I suppose that "General Conversation" means NOT FLASH-RELATED, although Flash comes up in my General Conversations all the time. If you go back & re-read my post there's actually not a single question mark in there. Not a who, a what, a when, a why, a where...
    or even a how.
    Again, despite the sharp tongue of this post, I apologize, as I had NOT intended this to be a "technical question". But then evolution stepped in & it became one...
    kind of.
