Media Temple DV hosting?
Anyone have an experience with this? It seems like they got quite a bit of backlash when they launched their gridservice since it wasn't 100% but have since got their bugs worked out.
My shared server is telling me that I'm using excessive resources, so I'm thinking about going dedicated. $50/month for their basic dedicated seems like a pretty good deal...

No I can't do it by tommorow..
I use the $20 grid account for one of my clients and its been an up and down experience... more ups then downs I have to admit.
I've had issues with:
Email: smtp really slow to deliver mail... like sometimes up to 24 hours after sending.
Sessions: randomly losing visitors sessions.
Server: randomly the server slows to point that a page load which would normally take 1 second to load suddenly refuses to load under 10 seconds.
Sessions issue got resolved, the other two are still outstanding and the account is about 8 months old now.
Going to go check now if I can access my databases... all i need is another issue...

The dv servers seem to be insulated from most of the issues. I've read a lot of less than stellar reviews about the grid service, but I haven't heard anything negative about the dv plan so I wanted to throw it out there.
This site is getting about 500k pageviews a month and I'm concerned about staying on a shared. I'm more concerned though, about degrading service.
