Nah - I've just always had an issue with that. If you are not running an auction, you should offer your best price to everyone regardless of who they are. Why one person should pay 20% more for an item in a brick and mortar store because they are unwilling to play their game is beyond me. I choose not to spend my hard earned dollar at establishments like this.

Well, here's what I got. Samsung released them on the day I was about to give up...and holy crap is it bright! Brighter than my TV I think.

    Only drawbacks so far are:

1.) The buttons are capacitance touch, which is nice, but the labels are impossible to read, dark grey on black.

2.) The piano black gloss finish is sleek and shiny, but picks up reflects from the edge of the monitor and the room.

Other than that, loving it. Just need to get it calibrated, which is always a pain.

Just run adobe gamma wizard, set all your apps to the adobe 1998 profile and be done with it.

Apparently CS3 doesn't come with it anymore, or at least I can't find it.

Yeah, Adobe stopped bundling it. You can find it in CS2 if you have that. According to what I've read, you can't accurately calibrate an LCD monitor with it. You will need a hardware calibrator.
