Considering how much you have polished this game, my bet is there's a font somewhere just waiting to get embedded Besides from that it looks good. Obviously this is a children's game, so I can't really comment on gameplay and difficulty

Sad thing is nobody came across that 'eeky', only after releasing all over the net I came across it, so yeah it will be there, and don't worry, I did slap my head :P

Nope, it's the same old same old. You have the font installed, so you'll never notice on your own machine and embedding is the last thing you do, since it slows down the compiling A LOT! Even with good ol' Arial or whatever it looked nice though, so no sweat

I had fun. Controls took a bit of getting used to, and the perspective seemed... completely erratic (really had no idea which way to move to avoid obstacles), but I got used to it in the end.

In this game everything is visible clearly except the eggs that are expected to be collected. The 3D perspective is horribly grotesque. The result being nobody knows where and when the eggs appear. There is nothing to do other than pressing the mouse and waiting something to really happen. I find this game absolutely pointless, and very boring to play.

DUDE! What is wrong in giving your honest opinion when reviewing a game? Does the publisher of a game always expects good comments, and pats on his back like a five years old child? You are completely out of your mind I think. You are reviewing games published in the website in my signature which is not the subject of this thread. The subject of the thread is reviewing "Dragon Journey". I did not start this thread, nor did I ask somebody to review games published in the website in my signature or comment about the talents of the authors of those games. Please stop henceforth posting irrelevant comments out of context, and confuse the whole issue.

The game is very polished, but there isn't really much to it. And I agree, the perspective was off.

Members can express their opinions about the games that are posted for feedback as long the opinions are not presented in abusive or hateful manner, and I dont think "pointless" and "boring" fall into that category.

If you feel differently, perhaps try to argue about the points he makes on the game.

The game was not intended to be a realistic 3D view. I agree the first minutes are confusing but if you learn a few minutes, the eggs are quite easy to catch and the game is pretty fun.

A nice diversion. The best thing I like about the game is the music. It made the game feel more epic

    Nice work!

In my previous post, I forgot to mention, that you REALLY need to be able to disable sound at all times in the game - during intro, the game etc.
Even though the sound is good, it is very important for the user experience to be able to turn it off

Volume knobs on speakers, buttons on laptops, icon on the taskbar. Many ways to lower the volume or turn off the sound.

Game is OK, a little bit of time to get used to, but not difficult.

MikeMD, I usually listen to music on my computer, so turning knobs, pulling out cables or playing with the main volume is not really an option

If you wanna play my games, you gotta concentrate on them, so no music of your own during play. It's my way, or rippin' out cables.

Sometimes, yes they do, and they post really pissy threads about it when it doesn't happen.

For a kids game, it works really well, reminds me of a slow version of space harrier:

Guilty as charged. I expect a cuddle too.

I thought the game showed potential. I didn't like the main dragon animation but the menu screens are gorgeous. The music is perfect too, really much better than most games but you need to fade it in/out instead of looping it mindlessly like that.. Can I borrow your musician?

As most people have mentioned, the perspective seems a little out of place, and the game is kind of lacking something to be honest but believe me, there's much much worse out there, so have faith, kids will love it.

phreax: I guess the guy who did the design didn't want too much clutter of buttons on the main game screen, 'cause already there is so much going on, hence the mute button was not thought of, but I do agree with your thinking.

Eager Beaver: I know you didn't like it, but the choice of words could've been better.

691175002: You are correct, it might be off for some people. Thanks for playing it.

Cortana: Yes the music really does feel epic, thanks for pointing that out and playing it

0vidiu, VENGEANCE MX, Sietjp, lesli_felix, MikeMD , tonypa: Thanks for playing the game guys! The game does need some time to get used to.

EvilKris: Thanks for the comments mate. Fade in and out would have been good, but the whole thing was in a hurry, so it didn't cross my mind, though I have seen in games how it could have given a nice transition in screens This was an all online affair so I am not sure about the musician myself. I will try to find out and if I get in contact with him/her, I will defiantly PM you.

Again, thanks everyone for their opinions and for playing the game
