    I have a big...

    why do you have Bonjour (mDNSResponder) even running? Both the starting and running ati2evxx.exe can be killed - kill one via Catalyst, the other via startup. Don't autostart CCapp.exe - manual update your damn self.

    And why in the hell are you running Norton's!?

    Also have a thinkpad which takes a good 20mins to boot up. It's a work one too which is why I daren't mess with configuration.

    You've got more processes going on in that laptop than the amount of procreation in my country alone!
