[CS3] Shadow effect help

On the above website, and on various others i've seen, there is a really nice shadowed paper/background effect.

Has anyone got any tips on how to do this effectively and to a high standard like in the above flash site?

I've tried it with glow/drop shadow, etc but it is no way near as nice.

Use Photoshop to create Drop Shadow, not Flash.

Are you setting the quality level of the drop shadow effect you are applying to high? I've found the drop shadow effect around movie clips in AS3 to actually be quite good.

create the shadow shape with the polygon lasso tool,- fill it with a black to white gradient.
Add a blur filter (4-10 pix perhaps) and set the blend mode to multiply,- additionally modify slightly the opacity for the layer. Basic photoshop stuff
