Drawing text for PSP - Flash MX2004
Hi - very much a beginner and trying to make a small rpg along style of Hotel Dusk for psp - obviously with much more limited animation -
I think I know how to draw in text from an external xml file - which I would normally use for a computer presentation.
Should I make a xml file inside the swf - or would the psp's resources prefer I create each text as a static graphic movie clip and progress thru either keyframes or user clicks.
is it right I should be looking at frame rate of 10-15 as optimum?
Any advice appreciated - using flash mx2004 - thanks in advance

- modded a tutorial of a music store catalogue - drawing text and images from external xml -
and it worked (yay)
but I don't think it's the way to go for a larger 'story" rpg -
will try and compare methods -
1)external xml + external images sucked in (as this experiment)
2) internal vars (probably stored as arrays (?) + imported images as graphic symbols inside swf
3) text manually entered and broken apart and saved as graphic symbols + imported images as graphic symbols inside swf
I am thinking that 3 is going to be the less resource hungry on the psp - I understand that it likes keyframe changes rather than having to process actionscript.
