Renaming Movie Clips

Greetings KM Community,

I apologize for the "no-brainer" depth of this question but here it goes. I wish to combine several separate movies. I see how to import another KoolMoves movie, but how do I rename the movie clips? Once imported, I have two different references to "mc1" so the second instance doesn't work (the second movie has script in it) and I want to change one of those mc1's to mc2. I have tried all of (my) known MS tricks to no avail. I'm sure (maybe) that this information is in the user's guide, but I can not locate it.

Also, can I rename movie clips anything (Fred, bob, lizard, etc) or must they be in the "mc1, mc2, mc3, etc" format?

Any information (or instruction if I am way off-base) - or even a page number in the user's guide that I previously missed - would be deeply appreciated.

Select the movie clip on the stage. Right-click and select Rename Movie Clip.

You can name it almost anything.
