resolved [RESOLVED] Flash 6 to 8 ActionScript Conflict

I've been trying to implement an example from the Koolexchange that was exported to Flash 6. It works great. As soon as I apply a bevel filter to a button it needs to be exported in Flash 8 and does not work. I have tried all the export combinations I can think of.

I've searched the Forums without finding any answers to this. Can someone shed any light on this?

Also after some trial and error, found that for it to work inserted the fun file (either in the timeline or as a MC)the flash options in export settings needed to be unchecked, sw.object selected as well as unique names for other shapes in the Main Movie. Also found that when importing the Dynamic Text color changed to white and fooled me into thinking nothing was there.

I know this may seem like "duh" but maybe it will help someone. Thanks Bob.
And thanks Bret for the KoolExchange example.

ByWeb, I am using email with error checking by blanius. It is now functional with the Flash8 stuff. I am still working on the site but it can be seen here under contact:
