N' then I might just Jump back on An' ride Like a cowboy Into the dawn ........To Montana.
I have posted links to journalists speechifying (since there does not appear to have been any other studies carried out). In one case I even acknowledged that there would be bias, which I think is more than you have done when telling us the results as per your McKinsey gospel.
But as usual, pick on one thing, lead the actual discussion away from the original topic and bog it down with proving a point, or convincing others your point is valid. I guess one difference would be that you seem to care....I don't. It is just typing.

So, if a study supports what you are pre-disposed to believe, you feel comfortable sharing it regardless of its merit. If it disagrees with your personal hunch, then you feel that it should be scrutinized heavily. Interesting...
And of course I care. How my country deals with healthcare affects my family and I directly. I also care about how other systems affect people in other countries as well. For me, it's people's lives that I care about. Not "just typing."

So... according to FL, everybody else is wrong, the facts are the opposite, everything is ok with the healthcare in America.
Nobody goes overseas for cheaper treatments, nor do people go to Canada for cheaper meds, and things are not what they seem in those tax-heavy/burdened countries because our likelihood of surviving some forms of cancer are as high, if not higher than the people in other countries as well.
And the prices paid for our healthcare, while a bit disproportionate, it's fine as long as it's not some "socialist" plan. So far, so good... right?

Everything is not ok with healthcare in America. I've written so multiple times here.
Never said that nobody goes over-seas for cheaper treatments. And cheaper is not higher quality.
I don't recall ever bringing up the cost of meds compared to Canada.
Unless you can come up with some reason why we would be good at treating one disease and not others, our performance treating some of the most common serious illnesses that humans get is indicative of our over-all quality of treatment.
The amount we pay for healthcare is not fine. I've written so many times now.
So, no. Not good so far if your intention was to summarize my position.

Dude. Somebody needs to summarize you because you simply refuse to do it.
Small, simple, consistent sentences. I don't even think you're capable any longer.

according to those comments on youtube, there is no way US govt would able to engage in a informative and meaningful debate.
I've been following this topic and i wonder is it really like that in the US. Many 'news' on US healthcare debate seem like comes from some sleazy tabloids, most are unbelievable to comprehend.

The mainstream media is rather sleazy anyway. And the people that believe the media without doing research... well, they tend to be parrot-like in their conversations.

Funny given that my response to your summary consisted of small, simple sentences that are consistent with the same positions I've always defended.

No kidding. Anyone who takes Rachel Maddow's word for it over content from widely respected medical journals really isn't doing the math.
