    Too complicated for me . . .

    Hi all,

I have been asked by my client to do a theme park map for them similar in functions to this one . .

    http://www.thorpepark.com/interactive-map.html

Thing is simple flash I can do - this I have no idea - where would I start or what would the cost be to do it?

    Many thanks,

    Pete

first thing you'd need before ANYTHING, is eithera HIGH RES image of the park/ma you plan on using.. (or a vector version of it, imported into Flash as its OWN movieClip)

depending on much 'alike' you want your project to resemble the one you linked to..

you might have to create the map and every 'attraction' in flash..

each ride or interactive part needs to be its OWN movieClip in the map clip.

(so when its clicked on..the animation plays for that ride/attraction)

    mask entire map clip

make controls to pan/move/scale the clip under the mask

make a function to add a 'tool-tip' effect like they have on rollOver..
