Automatically updating content after periods of time

Hello,

This is my first post here so excuse me if this has been already laid out earlier

I need to prepare a flash website for upcoming promotion.

On the website will be a downloadable file with a password.
Since the beginning of the promotion there will be single letters added each hour. Probably only one visible at the time.
Since this action takes place during weekend and i don't want to spend it in front of a computer updating the letters manually each hour i was wondering if there is a script which will do it for me.

There is a restriction though - the whole password cannot be included in the swf file (obvious security reasons).

Even if this has already been explained, please paste the link to it cause i don't have a clue how to name it in the searcher.

Try using the setTimeout() method.
