digital asset management Image Database? really struggling to find one

Hi All,

If someone could help with this it would be soo good...

Bascially I work in a small firm, a few clients want a 'digital asset management website' where bascially they can look at images/PDFs/videos etc with a small preview of each... I have been shown the ideal solution which you buy online through "celum imagine" see pic below: but this is too expensive at 10k a go..


has anyone ever used any cheaper alternatives that I can run on my own server?

these are the only things I need it to do really:

• Preview PDFs (first page) / images when you upload them
• have a file system similar to windows explorer (as image)
• have User groups to allow some people to see certain folders only
• Have a search function (by keyword tags)
• download and view files function etc

Hi SW... that one is nearly perfect... the only thing it doesnt seem to do is have subfolders...

Ive asked the developer and it cant be done easy, and even when done has a max of 3 subfolders which wont be great, plus the way its layed out is not great when you do subflders
