Yeah I used to listen to Sep' way back in the day but FF ranked up there with Metallica and Pantera for me. They even used to host their own Unreal Tournament server, a game for which their music was a perfect marriage.
The new album is classic FF too, like a lost album from before Obsolete.

I haven't listened to anything really since Obsolete but that was definitely their turning point. Their first album is so raw.

Damn now I need to go find their old albums.

I normally despise country music, but Johnny Cash doesn't really belong solely to that genre. With that said, "American VI: Ain't No Grave" sounds like a man possessed to confess each and every sin since birth and set it to music to set the record straight... sin, love lost, love gained... the man lived his life as he wished without regrets.

Perhaps reading a bit too deep into it; don't really care. I'm enjoying some Johnny Cash.

Johnny Cash always makes it into my loop at some point. Amazing man. I would love to hear all those recordings they found in his hidden recording room.

I HATE "remixes" where they just take the vocals of 1 song and put it over the beat of another and call it a day- or god forbid they just take 2 complete songs and pretty much just play them over another. Total garbage.

Depends on if it's done well or not. To date there are only two albums I approve of, both of them utilizing Jay-Z oddly enough.

Danger Mouses' Gray Album and Collision Course.

No don't get me wrong here. I LOVE remixes. I just mean when there is obviously NO effort put in to match tempo etc...just laid over one another.

Have you heard the B.I.G and Frank Sinatra mashup? incredible.

    RJD2 - cool video too.

Actually just got a hold of a Aesop Rock & Portishead mashup- called "RockHead". Decent tracks.

Best mashup in ages? Wu-Tang vs. Beatles, hands down.

I need to give that another listen but the stuff I heard off it was definitely in the JayZ and Beatles mashup caliber.
