    It was a difference of about 30 bucks and the 4gb SD, USB card reader, case and mini-tripod cheap as they are were worth it. I really want to dig in to all the shooting options but its a lot to take in right now and I don't want to have to break out the manual every time I encounter a different kind of shot.

    ahh $30 isn't bad at all. Those ebay "deals" are a rip off.
