Angry birds game on iphone

hello,
i have sort of a strange question. My wife downloaded the angry bird game on her iPhone, now my 3 year old wants to play it all the time. since I cant say I'm comfortable to have a 3year old play with a 600$ device, I was wondering which would be the cheapest device touchscreen anyone is aware of, that I can purchase to let him use to play the game.

I don't know much about Android devices but from what I know certain versions of the OS have limits to how high of a version to update to. This may be an issue if the latest Angry Birds requires 2.6 and your tablet only does 2.1. My point is to look into what games will work on the tablet first.
