So i guess you shouldnt be adevertising the fatc that you have it as one of our moderators matt wobensmith is from macromedia.Until it is launched please do not make it obvious that you have it.i suggest you delete it from your hardrive now matey!!!

Yah, I don't see the point in trying to answer questions for something that none of us have. How would we have questions then? But when it comes out, you can guarantee that people are going to have it, and have plenty of questions.

Maybe we could have a questions/answer session with somebody from macromedia. I'm already beginning to plan new projects arround its known capabilities. I would just like to know a few details about what has been made public?

I think a five fourm is a great idea. I will talk to Mark about setting one up. The only thing is we can only answer what we saw or can gather from the MM site. As part of our pentance for having those screen shots were not getting any advanced copies of flash 5. We also don't want people posting any new shots got that gang! So if you have question fire away and we will see what we can do. Maybe Matt can answer some of these questions as well. Regards, Bill

Thats what I am kind of thinking. The MM site and the keynote are very informative, but the possiblity of knowing a few more exacting details would be great. I know the product is not out, but a few more details might help us with big plans for it.

Here is a starter -

On the MM Flash site - it talks about shared libraries. It also hints that swf files can be posted and used as sort of and object/style sheet for other movies. Is this a correct undertanding of this feature?

Due to overwhelming demand (ie Scills said "Do it!!!"), the Flash 5 forum has been added. We've got some of our gun moderators looking over it now and they will be keeping a strict eye on what material is posted there.
