replying to posts

for the flashkit2 wish-list could you guys at flashkit please consider the following

PLEASE add an extra reply option on each message of each thread so that there are TWO REPLY OPTIONS :-
FIRST to reply to the original post which started that thread
SECOND to give you the option to reply to an individual reply

I have, along with countless other members I suspect, received untold email prompts of replies to threads where a person is actually replying to the original 'poster', but has just clicked the reply link on the last reply at the bottom of the thread (I assume that the original poster in this instance is not notified of the new response.)

I assume this because I have placed posts myself where i have received very few email prompts but on returning to view the posts onlin, there have been a few answers but the prompt has obviously gone elsewhere as the person responding had obviously clicked the last 'reply link' rather than the 'reply link' on the original post at the head of the column

hope this makes sense and hope you guys at flashkit can do something to rectify this, as many members are either getting email prompts which although they may be of interest, are not directly relevant because they didnt post the thread in the first place - or the original posters are missing out on prompts for replies to the thread which they inititated

Pretty sure that all people that have email notifications enabled are emailed on any reply. I'll look into it further.
