Im working on a flash page right now and I was curious as to what a respectable file size is. Target audience being people with 28.8K and up. How large should I allow the .FLA to get? the SWF? the HTML? Thanks CY

It's a relative question that you're asking. You could have a 400k .swf that would look fine on a 28.8 if you handled the memory well. Read your guide on the bandwidth profiler when you preview your stuff, and also look to learn how to use the Report function when you publish your stuff.

As far as HTML, keep it under 60k for a 28.8 (that's with images) That will still take some time for those users, but won't bore the heck out of anyone with more bandwidth. I usually shoot for around 80 to 90k, depending on who I'm writing for.
