publishing problemo

Hey, here is another problem for ya. I created a personal flash web page (my first) and I published it and I have the html and swf file. I go to upload them to a server and they don't show up. It either says page not found or I just get a blank white screen. I am linking to this page from a basic html title page.

are your filenames the same? also you will find that if you edit the original .fla file and just save it, the .swf and .html do not update automatically, you have to re publish

double check all the filenames etc are in running order and re upload if necessary
