I have seen a menu in java on this site.

when a button is pressed the button splits, dose anyone have an idea for a way of spliting the text in the button.
The text must be a variable as it must be loaded from a file.

Any ideas welcome

Have an idea how it could be done in Flash!

Each button would have to be in its own MC on a different
layer. Whichever button was clicked would have to set
variables to keep track of MC button on top and bottom
then use script to move them up in sequence. Before they
started to move you would bring up the MC with the next
layer of buttons underneath them.

Hope this gave you an idea where to start. When you
finish it let me know how it turns out.
