For a while now, I've been searching for a file that runs a server and understands XML. I've seen The Flash Nexus, I've seen the Cult, and I've seen Moock's JAVA server. All of the are great. But they all involve predefined tags. For example Nexus has:

message user="" message=""
(and maybe some more attributes I forget)

I know you're probably all thinking but you can put custom tags inside the message tag! The thing is, I don't want it. I don't want those group and message tags and features. The only thing I want is a user database. And possibly listing all the on and offline users. But of course that's not all, I would like the ability to make the program be able to understand certain, definable tags and also for the server to respond to certain, definable XML data with a certain, definable XML reponse. I've tried to edit Moock's JAVA server, but I'm not very keen on JAVA, and I don't have shell access so I can't even use it if I do ever successfully edit it. If anyone knows of a program, or is willing to make one, or have anything vent, please do.
