I am using Flash MX to make a 7 min presentation of Photographs and animations in sync with 128kbps MP3 sound .
I am designing it on 350Mhz with 160Mb RAM running WindowsXP.
Sometimes.... when I play the .exe or .swf on other computers it stops before the end, rewinds and stops at the first frame.
Sometimes.... the sound stops and it continues playing.
I've tested it on several computers but mostly on a 1000Mhz with 128Mb RAM (WinXP). It rarely does it on my computer (the one I'm designing it on)... only once that I recall, but often, maybe even "usually" happens one the 1000Mhz. The .exe did it once on a 550Mhz (don't the RAM) but then the .swf never did it.
I was at a loss for the cause but today when it happen I noticed a message something like "Your system is low on Virtual Memory and will increase Paging File". I went to Windows help and "learned" how to increase Paging File (whatever the hell that is) but after re-booting and running the .swf it happen again... even sooner than it's ever happened before.
Could this be a RAM problem? A Virtual Memory Problem? Or just that the file is too big (.swf 9,610KB)?
How can I over come the problem. I don’t want to lose anymore quality in the graphics or sound. I want it play error free on a 500Mhz with 128Mb RAM.
Any Suggestions?
