i downloaded the masking .fun file from necromanthus.com...i have a problem creating this effect. It seems like as soon as i convert the "mask" into "mask_mc" and point the actionscript to "mc3" i have functionality of the mask (moving up and down) but the text (also converted to mc)is still displayed (not just where the mask should reveal the text to be).

i hope that makes some sense.

any clue as to what i may be doing incorrectly???
