Ok... I got an idea in work to experiment with flash... I had to write it down, so I wrote it on some reciept paper, lol... anyway... I'm trying to basically get this line to follow the mouse with rotation AND position... Then have duplicate lines attached to eachother following the same basic movement... The way I thought of it, is like a strand of hair. Starts from the top and a straight line down(gravity)... If you move the strand to the rightpart of the strand will become bent or angled and slowly fall into the same position... a straight line down... basically recreating that... but with a bunch of attached lines "acting" as one line... I have a basic "cheap" version of that, that I made... but I cant factor in the effects of Y movement and rotation.if I exclude the y and just use X with some restrictions, it works to the x extent... I'll attach the fla.
If someone can shed a little light on my situation it would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
~Bill
