I want to create a button that will search a list of some sort for portfolio items (external MCs) and duplicate itself to accomodate however many items there are. The initial button would already be present in the main swf.
When these buttons are eventually clicked they would load one portfolio item MC each into a main display MC.
If anyone can show me a code that can do this - particularly the searching part of it that determines how many MCs are left - I would be very appreciative. Oh, and it can't use sequential file names like 001.swf, 002.swf, 003.swf, etc., because the whole point is to have a portfolio I can frequently update without having to change the main swf.
The main forum yielded no help, so I'm counting on the expertise in here!
