Wow, i didn't pimp anything there properly since so long! Ok, this is just a small pimp anyway, since the final product isn't out yet ^_^

So... here's an old project, ressurrected a while back and going very well now. I'm sure some of you already saw some screenies about the game in past, but everything has been redone for good!

"bubble islands" is a puzzle game with different game modes; you can play with 7 characters (they all have a background story and custom abilities), and maybe you'll be strong enough to unlock 3 special ones. The gameplay mixes "puyo puyo", and, mmhhh... I don't know. I think that some aspects/ideas are original... Nothing too new though, but addictive and eye-candy enough to be really enjoyed (to be honest, i like to beta-test it more than working on it, haha)...

Just to let you know, the current screenshots are done from the "rolling demos" (if you let the title screen rolling during a while, this is what you'll see, computer controlled characters that will play for you. That explains the "push start" on every screen). Wait, don't go... The game is fully playable already! Things currently missing are some sounds, the soundtrack, some character animations, intro/ending screens, a more interesting "puzzle" mode, and all the backgrounds (sorry for the temp basic sky one). Ok, still many things left, but the core is working; evolutive computer Ai is implemented and all, etc...

Also, the game is being developed in C++ too, i did a huge amount of work to have graphics that can be resized easily from the source. yes, everything you see is done in vectors, and the original .pngs out of them are in 1920x1440. Due to flash producing the fastest games in the world (heh), it's done in 480x360 so far. Fortunately the C++ version will let you play in 800x600, in fullscreen and ultra smooth. Phew. I have to admit, i cannot wait. It will be a reward to see my own game running that fast.

Soooo, between some mobile, GBA & DS work, i'll try to finish that game quickly.

A-ny-way, here are some screenies so far, sorry low connection users! (Talking about them, the current file size of the game is... mmmhhh... needs to be optimized?)
