I've been working on a little experiment for the last few days, sort of a different way to look at platformers.

Instead of having a levels that moves horizontaly, it rotates (ala Super Mario Galaxy )

a few things I tried to include:
-working physics (mostly failed)
-ability to travel between planets (kinda' worked)

VERY skin and bones, don't ask.

here it is: http://ian.janasnyder.com/globegame.swf

in space, use arrow keys, in atmosphere, space = jetpack, arrows = left/right

let me know what you think

btw: if anybody is willing to help me with this physics deal (nothing fancy, just so the planet and character don't intersect) PM and let me know, please.

I'm trying to vreate a working game engine where a user would only have to cvhange a few sprites, and create planets and name them to make a game, right now, I'm not willing to release the source (very, very messy)

If you think you could help me with this, let me know.
