There are 2 things I am trying to do here:

Once a link has been clicked on a html page, is there anyway to position a 800 x 600 (pop-up) browser window centrally on a larger monitor?

Also (in the case of people using monitors larger than 800 x 600, is there a way to hide all other windows open on the desktop and change the background to black?

Any suggestions about how I go about this would be appreciated.
