anyone else hear that?
Great link to the tv post...loved reading that, and when it was just us and our daughter, we only let her watch about 15-30 minutes of cartoons at night before bed as a treat...BUT... now that we have a 5-month old who seems to be in a constant state of hunger, TV is a life saver when one of us is at home alone, feeding the baby and she starts demanding attention, trying to get out of the house, chase the dog, etc...once he's done eating, the TV goes off and the play begins again, but, as much as I hate to say it, TV is the great distractor...
..and, there's no way we would travel anywhere over an hour without the DVD player in the car...it's either that or whining & screaming...
I know, it's horrible, but, until he's old enough to be able to feed himself, I think the TV stays...and for long trips in the car...hmmm...not sure what the solution is there...
