As flash players are obviously more widespread than ever b4, I was wondering why use animated gifs? It's a thing that has just always bugged me...

Obviously flash banners are a lot better (looks, design, feel etc) - they would also boost clickability as it just simply looks like a better site that ur interested in. So why are we still seeing the old animated gifs?

Im not at all biased towards flash - I like nice little animated gifs, but I presumed there would be a lot more input into flash banners.

Any input from u guys? What are your thoughts?
