Anyone have an big expectations for anything and when it came out you were either really let down in the direction they went or they released a product with way less then they promised(pretty much a gadget-heads life)

This was not a life let down but recently I rewatched the matrix trilogy. When I was younger I watch the original quite a few times but only saw the sequels in theater once so I figured I would give them another go. Even though the original has a lot lacking it was a solid base for what could have been an awesome trilogy with an original idea. It ended up being a huge mess of everything. The huge orgy scene that opens the second one along with all the dialog pretty much being "I know what you're going to do- but why" "You already know the answer to that question so let's just keep talking back and forth like we both know everything and leave the audience trying to keep up with what the **** is going on"

It was marketing genius but it's too bad to get the movies you had to see the animatrix which was actually really good and I might have to rewatch that soon also, the video game which I don't know ANYONE who played it, and I remember there being books as well?
